Guest Information

A shuttle bus will be operating in front of NongHyup Janghakgwan, near Exit 2 of the subway station.

Free parking is available in front of Sunwoongak. Please follow the staff’s guidance when parking.

If you're driving, it might get a bit crowded due to weekend hikers, so we recommend arriving a little early.

Little guests are very welcome — bring the kiddos!

There’s an uphill walk on the way in, and an after-party on the way out, so we recommend wearing comfy shoes.

The after-party will be held at the same venue until 11 PM. Stay late and have fun with us♥

Our Story

Our Story

We first met in 2019 through a Tinder match.
(Surprising, right?)

It’s an app people often browse just for fun,
so ending up together like this feels like
finding a pearl in the sand.

Markus had been living in Seoul
for five years—he’d gone to grad school here, and was working. He liked having Somaek
after work and Soondae-guk for hangovers.

Dohee had always been into languages
and different cultures, but Germany? Not really.
(That changed later ♥)

After matching on Tinder,
we kept trying to meet,
but work trips kept getting in the way.
For six months, we just texted—
but the conversations never got boring.

6 months after matching.
we finally had our first date
right in the middle of Gangnam.

Markus was surprised by
Dohee’s unexpectedly low voice.

Dohee was surprised that Markus
had volunteered for the army —
even though it wasn’t mandatory in Germany.

We felt like we got along,
since we had been talking over text for months.

But the more we got to know each other,
the more we realized how different we were.
In culture, in personality, in just about everything.

Dohee is a hardcore homebody,
introvert, and INFP.
Markus is a hardcore social butterfly,
extrovert, and ESFJ

During the five years
before we decided to get married,
we had quite a few fights and went through
a lot of ups and downs.

During the five years
before we decided to get married,
we had quite a few fights and went through
a lot of ups and downs.

But as we decided to get married,
we came to understand this:

Being together isn’t about asking each other to change,
but about choosing to respect and
love each other just as we are.

To hold onto that promise,
we want to say our vows in front of the people
who mean a lot to us.

We will cherish and be grateful for the precious steps you took to celebrate our new journey.
